Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) brought about by a bacterium referred as Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacterium breeds in warm, moist part parts of the reproductive tract, just like the fallopian tubes in women, cervix, uterus and in the urethra in both the women and the men. The bacterium also breeds in parts like the mouth, throat, eyes, and anus.
